Cruciferous vegetables are a group of leafy greens, cabbages, and mustard-like veggies that are some of the most nutrient-rich plants, packed with versatile flavors. They’re called cruciferous because their four-petaled flowers look like a crucifix, or a cross. Their rich colors are an indication of just how nutrient-packed they are. A good rule of thumb for greens or any fruits or vegetables is that the deeper the color, the more nutrient-dense it is. For example, spinach contains more vitamins and minerals than the overrated iceberg lettuce.

We consider ourselves more of a meal prep “stop” than a “made-to-order” restaurant. We pride ourselves on chopping the freshest ingredients and ensuring long lasting cruciferous in your fridge! So we are chopping and getting them out to you as efficiently as we can. Scheduling also allows us to still relish retired life and chase those 11 grandkids to the ends of the world while not throwing customers off with an irregular schedule. So you can look at what works with your schedule and our salad days and lock down your order! Our online system also gives you the freedom to reschedule or book ahead, not having to completely rely on Sugar’s pointer finger texting and paper system that confuses Pops regularly.
